Until now, the roots of our life have been a mystery.
Ann, a visiting European princess, is overworked and decides to take a night off whilst in Rome. When a sedative prescribed by her psychiatrist takes effect, she falls unconscious on a park bench and is discovered by Joe Bradley, an American reporter who takes her back to his apartment for protection. Joe discovers Ann’s regal identity the next morning at work and bets his publisher that he can get an exclusive interview with her, but romance gets in the way.
