Overview
Captain Jean-Luc Picard and the crew of the USS Enterprise obtain news from Starfleet that a coup has culminated in the election of a new Romulan political official, Shinzon, who claims to pursue unification with the human-backed United Federation of Planets, while on their way to William Riker’s honeymoon on her home planet of Betazed. When the captain and his crew arrive in enemy land, they learn that Shinzon is a human slave from the Romulan sister planet of Remus, and that he has a secret, disturbing friendship with Picard himself.
