Frank Bannister, a former architect, currently poses as an exorcist of bad spirits. To maintain his act, he insists that his “”odd”” talent is the product of a traffic crash in which his wife was murdered. What he does not expect, though, is for more citizens to die in his small community. He falls in love with the wife of one of the victims while trying to solve the supernatural mystery of the murders, and he has to contend with an insane FBI investigator.
