The luxuriantly bearded Pirate Captain is a boundlessly passionate, if less-than-successful, High Seas terror. The Captain has one dream: to pip his bitter rivals Black Bellamy and Cutlass Liz to the much-coveted Pirate of the Year Award with a motley crew on his side, apparently oblivious to the daunting odds stacked against him. It’s a journey that brings our protagonists from the tropical Blood Island to Victorian London’s foggy streets. They battle a diabolical queen and join up with a haplessly smitten young scientist along the way, but they never forget what a pirate enjoys most: fun!
