Overview
Thunderbirds is a British science-fiction television series from the 1960s that was created using a hybrid of marionette puppetry and scale-model special effects known as “”Supermarionation.”” The story is set in the twenty-first century and explores the adventures of International Rescue, a covert organisation that uses technologically sophisticated ground, sea, air, and space vehicles and equipment deployed from a hidden base on Tracy Island in the South Pacific Ocean to save citizens in perilous situations.
