Not far from here is a small little village.
A sparse soundstage is used to construct a minimalist small-town atmosphere in which a mystery woman called Grace hides from the offenders after her. Grace works tirelessly under the guise of numerous townspeople to gain the favor of the town, which is two-faced and promises to shelter her as long as she can make it worth their effort. However, tensions rise, and Grace’s standing as a vulnerable stranger is met with brutal scorn and violence by the residents of Dogville.
