Overview

Alex, a copy editor from New York City, is sent to Ridgeline Resort, an extreme sports retreat, to compose a report for a travel writing competition. She struggles at all at first, much to the chagrin of Cole, an extreme sports fan who believes she can return to New York. When Alex offers to help Cole with his nearby arts event, he reluctantly agrees to be her mentor when she confronts her concerns by participating in one extreme activity after another.
