An American volunteer and a British refugee join up in post-apocalyptic England to fend off a brood of fire-breathing dragons trying to reclaim world supremacy after centuries underground. The Britishman, who is guiding a group of refugees on a mission to find the King of the Dragons, has a lot riding on it: His mother was slain by a dragon, but his devotion endures.
