Freddy Gale has waited six years for John Booth, the man responsible for his daughter’s death in a hit-and-run, to be freed from jail. Gale meets Booth on the day of his release and tells him that he will murder him in a week. Booth spends his time attempting to reconcile himself and his entourage, as well as finding love. Gale, whose world is falling apart due to his fascination with Booth, will push himself to the brink of insanity. Both men would find themselves in a collision path with each other by the end of the week.
