Overview
It’s the middle of December, and SOS Brigade commander Haruhi Suzumiya declares that the Brigade will have a Christmas party in their clubroom, complete with Japanese hotpot for dinner. Kyon, Yuki Nagato, Mikuru Asahina, and Itsuki Koizumi, participants of the brigade, begin arranging everything for the band, including costumes and decorations. However, as Kyon returns to school a few days later, he discovers that Haruhi has vanished. Not just that, but Mikuru says she has never met Kyon, Koizumi has vanished, and Yuki has been the literature club’s lone participant. Haruhi Suzumiya and the SOS Brigade seem to have never existed. Except for Kyon, no one at the school has ever heard of her.
