History has a habit of repeating itself.
Nine Russian hikers went to a remote part of the Ural Mountains in February 1959. They were all pronounced dead two weeks later. What occurred is a puzzle that for decades has perplexed historians and scholars. The Dyatlov Pass Incident has been established. As five determined students of American college are granted an award to return to the original incidents, they believe that they will discover and record the reality of what happened to the allegedly seasoned walkers. But what they discover is surprising more than anything they could have expected. After the miserable voyage of the Russians, students are afflicted by mysterious and increasingly frightening events, which mean that, despite their bleak setting, they are not alone. The powers at work waited for them at the Dyatlov Pass Incident.
