Overview
The Vatican dispatches a priest with a haunted history and a novitiate on the verge of her final vows to investigate the suicide of a young nun at a cloistered abbey in Romania. They work together to discover the order’s dark secret. They face a malevolent entity in the shape of the same demonic nun who terrorized viewers in “The Conjuring 2” as the abbey becomes a terrifying battlefield between the living and the damned, risking not just their life but their religion and their very souls.
