As young Joshua hears that he is on holiday with his relatives, he protests strongly in a small town named Nilbog. The ghost of his departed grandfather warns him that the city is populated by goblins. Michael and Diana, his parents, reject his apprehensions but soon come to accept the warnings of their son.
