Julius and Vincent Benedict are the offspring of an attempt to create the ideal boy. Julius was conceived with athletic proportions in mind. Vincent is a bystander who is a little shorter in stature. Julius is brought to a south seas island and raised by philosophers, while Vincent is put in an orphanage. Vincent devolves into the supreme thug and is on the verge of being murdered by loan sharks.
