Three friends reunite for the funeral of a fourth childhood mate, whose lives have been drifting apart. They find a trunk containing information about a search their buddy was pursuing whilst going through their childhood possessions. It was discovered that he was on the lookout for the $200,000 that went missing in 1971 with plane hijacker D.B. Cooper. They plan to carry on his trip, but they are unaware of the dangers they will face.
