Following a disaster, Ben seeks work as a caregiver to supplement his income. Trevor, his first customer, is a witty 18-year-old with muscular dystrophy. Ben and Trevor set off for a road ride across the western states, one mentally paralyzed and the other physically paralyzed. The people they meet along the way will help them put their survival abilities to the test outside of their planned lives.
